What is the difference between an internet florist that ships directly and one that uses a network?

Answered By Eric Famulary, Editor

Those are the two important categories of Internet Florists. The difference lies on the kind of service they render to the clients:

Internet florist with network

- It uses Teleflora. It has been into service for several years with the mom-and-pop florists. One is the Bloomology.com. This is more technologically advanced.

Internet florist that are shipping own flowers

- It offers more affordable price because there is no middleman. The shipping line transport the flowers fresh from the central farm or warehouse. Floweria is an example.
